Each quarter the Department of Human Services provides a report including statistical and performance measure information for a number of our high-level programs. The attached report includes information for third quarter 2021.

Consideration and Approval of Animal Shelter Management and Services Agreement with Humane Society of Pagosa Springs
This Agreement renews the service agreement to provide shelter for impounded, strayed and surrendered animals in the County. The Humane Society has requested an increase in fees from $50,000 to $62,500 per year plus increasing the impound fee from $35 to $40 and the housing fee from $15 to $20 per day.
Consideration of Resolution 2021-____ Adopting an Interim Policy Regarding Recreational Vehicle Temporary Use Permits
This Resolution extends the Recreational Vehicle Temporary Use Permit time to 180 consecutive days per permit, so long as certain parameters are met. The Commissioners may also include in this resolution a temporary moratorium on NEW vacation rental permits during the extension period, which will end on or about June 30, 2022 unless further extended.
