2022 Statewide Official Results

General Election:  November 8, 2022

  • Colorado does not have a registration deadline.  Although, you must be a Colorado resident 22 days prior to an election.

Important Dates & Events

  • September 23 - Ballots will be mailed/transmitted to eligible overseas and military (UOCAVA) voters.
  • October 7 - TABOR notices will be mailed.
  • October 17 -  Ballots will be mailed to every Active voter who is registered in Archuleta County.  
  • October 24 - Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) and Drop Boxes open.
  • VSPC Locations: 
    •  Elections Office located at 449 San Juan Street, Pagosa Springs, CO (behind the old courthouse).  The VSPC hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - Noon and 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  On Election Day ONLY 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Archuleta County Extension Building, 344 Hwy 84, Pagosa Springs, CO and PLPOA Clubhouse, 230 Port Ave., Pagosa Springs, CO.
  • Drop Box Locations: 
    • Drop Box #1 - (Old Courthouse) 449 San Juan Street, Pagosa Springs, CO located outside on the sidewalk near the flagpoles.
    • Drop Box #2 - (Tara Community Center) 333 Milton Lane, Arboles, CO 
  • October 31 - Last day citizens may register to vote or update their voter record at govotecolorado.gov and have a ballot mailed to them.  After October 31, citizens must register to vote or update their voter record and receive their ballot at the Election Office through Election Day.  
  • November 8 - ELECTION DAY!  VSPC and Drop Boxes close at 7:00 p.m.

Ballots must be returned to and in the hands of the Archuleta County Clerk & Recorder no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 8, 2022.  Post marks do not count.  

Visit www.govotecolorado.gov to view or update your registration online.  It is important that registered voters keep their records up to date with their current information.  All active registered voters will automatically receive a ballot in the mail.  The voter may not receive their ballot if their voter record has inaccurate or outdated personal information.
