Public Hearing of Lake Hatcher Park Amendment 2018-02 Final Plat, a Replat & Easement Vacation of Lots 75X-78

Wayne E Maxwell II & Theresa T. Maxwell of Pagosa Springs, and Pat L. Bolton & M. Virginia Bolton of Spring Branch, TX, have applied for final plat approval of the Lake Hatcher Park Amendment 2018-02, a replat of Lots 75X-78, creating Lots 75XZ and 78Z, and vacating unused utility easements (PLN18-242). The property at 36 Bay Ct. is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD). Archuleta County Planning Commission held a public meeting on November 14, 2018, and recommended approval.

This is a renewal for a Retail Marijuana Optional Premises Cultivation license for San Juan Strains, Inc., located at 95 Industrial Circle in Pagosa Springs.  There are no changes, the application is complete and the proper fees have been paid.  The County's Building and Planning Departments, the County's Sheriff's Department and the Fire Department have done their property inspections and there are no objections.

Consideration and Approval of a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License Renewal for Chimney Rock Restaurant and Tavern, LLC DBA Chimney Rock Restaurant and Tavern, LLC

This is a renewal of a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License for Chimney Rock Restaurant and Tavern, LLC DBA Chimney Rock Restaurant and Tavern, LLC located at 18710 W. Hwy 160 Bayfield, Colorado. This renewal includes no changes. The application is complete and the proper fees have been submitted. The Sheriff's Office has completed their background check and the Building Department has inspected the premises for changes.

Consideration of Approval of the 2019 County Holiday Schedule

The Board of County Commissioners annually adopts the schedule of holidays that the County recognizes.  The 2019 holidays included in this schedule are those holidays that the BoCC has previously approved, recognizing federal holidays as well as "County Heritage Day" and "Good Friday".

A.

Re-Consideration and Approval of Resolution 2018-___ Setting Forth Language for Subdivision of Under 35 Acre Lots

The BoCC will reconsider a resolution to adopt an interim program that allows owners of lots less than 35 acres in size which lots were created in a manner that does not comply with C.R.S. 30-28-101 et seq. to bring their lots into compliance with the state statutes without having to go through a full subdivision application process.  This interim program will be available beginning January 1, 2019 and only during the year 2019 after which landowners will have to fully comply with the subdivision process.  The resolution has been revised since the October 16, 2018 BoCC review.

Appointment of Board of Directors for Piedra Peak Metro District

The Archuleta Board of County Commissioners is authorized to appoint members to the Board of Directors of a Title 32 Special District when necessary.  The Board for the Piedra Peak Metro District is not currently constituted and the County Commissioners are requested to appoint an Interim Board.

Consideration of Broadband Expansion Funding Request

The Community Development Corporation (CDC) is requesting funding in the amount of $17,500 in County funding for broadband expansion projects.

The Archuleta County Education Center has submitted a funding request in the total amount of $70,000 for continued renovation of the Early Childhood Education Center (ECE) and for a Teacher Recruitment and Scholarship Program.
