Cooperative Forest Road Agreement between Archuleta County and the USDA Forest Service San Juan National Forest

Archuleta County and the Forest Service have had long standing agreements and very strong cooperative working relationships regarding the maintenance of county roads that access national forest, and Forest Service roads that are also county roads.  The ongoing agreements are structured such that both entities mutually develop road plans and define maintenance needs on an annual basis.  The agreements have a 5 year term, and the one presented is an extension of previous agreements that define the mutual terms of our engagement with the Forest Service.
