The Weed and Pest's 2023 Private Spray List is full for the 2023 season. Books for 2024 will be opening on Jan 1, 2024.
The Archuleta County Weed and Pest Department can be contracted out by local landowners to complete herbicide applications on noxious weeds. A list of properties is maintained annually, which opens on January 1st and closes when department capacity has been reached. The list works on a rolling schedule with work beginning in the Arboles area, shifting over to Chromo, and finishing up in Pagosa Springs in order to treat noxious weeds at the most appropriate time.
In order for a property to be treated it must be ATV accessible. We do not offer backpack spraying as a service unless you have Myrtle Spurge, an A list species.
